♦Each year the Tennessee Golf Foundation awards full and partial tuition scholarship to students attending the Tennessee PGA Junior Golf Academy. The full tuition cost is $700 for boys and girls ranging in age from 10 to 17.  Juniors are often selected by Clubs, donors or regional outreach programs and can be based on need or selected criteria from the donor or Academy staff.

♦Academy Scholarship donations can be made to honor or memorialize someone's legacy with a "Named Scholarship."

♦Annual Scholarship may cover full tuition for one or several junior golfers to attend the TPGA Junior Golf Academy -- $700 or more.

♦Endowed Scholarships are established for a "lifetime" scholarship. The fund is allocated inside Tennessee Golf Foundation's endowment fund and managed by TGF's investment managers. $17,000 is needed to establish the fund and 4% is used annually to fund the scholarship.

♦Gifts to the Tennessee Golf Foundation to establish at TPGA Junior Golf Academy Scholarship are fully tax deductible. The Tennessee Golf Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit charity and its mission is to promote golf and its life-enhancing values with an emphasis on teaching youth and the disadvantaged.


About the Tennessee PGA Junior Golf Academy

Since 1973, The Tennessee PGA Junior Golf Academy has provided aspiring young golfers with world class golf instruction provided by many of the nation's leading PGA golf professionals and NCAA college golf coaches. Over 13,000 young people have been introduced to the game of a lifetime by our dedicated teachers. While many of our graduates have gone on to become top caliber professional and amateur players, countless students have developed a lifelong love and appreciation for the game in a positive, supportive and fun learning environment. Whether a new beginner or a player hoping to make their school team, our coaches tailor their instruction to each student's current level of experience and physical ability with an appreciation for each student's personal goals.

Golf House Tennessee Learning Center

Nineteen acre practice range / 20,000 sq. ft. Vince Gill practice green and putting course / newly remodeled short game area / 6,000 sq. ft. practice bunker, pitching range / indoor teaching studio with state of the art VI swing analysis / full access to the Little Course at Connor Lane - designed by Bob Cupp and World Golf Hall of Fame member Tom Kite.

Tennessee PGA Golf Lodge

Students will stay in the Tennessee PGA Golf Lodge located on-site at Golf House Tennessee. The lodge provides immediate access to all Learning Center facilities and features dorm style accommodations for all students. All meals are served on-site in the Sara Lee Dining Room. Students will also enjoy after golf activities in the popular Golf Lodge game room.
