​In 1991 the Tennessee Golf Foundation Board of Directors established the following

mission statement for the Tennessee Golf Hall of Fame:

 

The Tennessee Golf Hall of Fame was founded

to honor men and women whose outstanding contributions

have made golf a better game in Tennessee.

 

Nominees for induction shall embody one of more of the following criteria:

 

A significant record as a championship player in international, national, regional or state competition;

 

A distinguished career as a benefactor, promoter, administrator or volunteer to the game in Tennessee;

 

All candidates must embody the core values and honorable traditions of the game of golf.



The Tennessee Golf Hall of Fame is managed by the Tennessee Golf Foundation with galleries and memorabilia located at Golf House Tennessee.

 

Golf House Tennessee is approximately 20 miles south of Nashville and is open to the public Monday thru Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
