World Handicap System

In 2020, the way that golfers calculate their handicaps will be changed with the launch of the World Handicap System. This system was born from the idea that no matter where you live or play in the world, all handicaps should be calculated the same way. So the six governing bodies that provided handicaps (Golf Australia, the Council of National Golf Unions (England & Ireland), European Golf Association, South African Golf Association, Argentine Golf Association & USGA) went through an extensive process to come up with what will become the worldwide standard to calculate your handicap index. In order to get you ready for the change, we've created this page as a one stop shop for infographics, articles and videos. Make sure you take sometime to familiarize yourself with what is coming in a few months.
