Meet the TGA's interns for the 2022 Championship season

FRANKLIN, Tenn. — The Tennessee Golf Association is excited to welcome four new interns to the team for the 2022 season. Representing four different states across the country, the TGA is excited have them learn and grow within the golf industry. Get to know a little bit about them below!

 Ainsley_Keane_article_crop Ainsley Keane

Ainsley joins the TGA all the way from SeaTac, Washington, just outside of Seattle. Ainsley is working on a double major in Sport Management and Hospitality Business Management at Washington State University. She started playing golf last year and is loving every minute she spends out on the course. "I chose the TGA internship to learn more about tournament operations and events."

Favorite Food: Pesto pasta

Favorite TV Show: How I Met Your Mother Least

Favorite Golf Club: Putter because I need to practice more 

Hobbies outside of golf: Hiking, baking, trying new restaurants, hanging out with my fellow interns 

Fun Fact: I have two cats named Ruben and Marlo

 Camille_Blaylock_article_crop Camille Blaylock

Camille comes to the TGA from Belden, Mississippi, but is familiar with courses across Tennessee because she plays college golf and studies Communication Sciences and Disorders (Pre-Speech Pathology) at Freed-Hardeman University in Jackson, Tennessee. "I chose to accept the internship because it allows me to work with the sport I love and meet different people."

Fast Facts

Favorite Food: Anything sweet

Favorite TV Show: Pretty much all reality TV 

Favorite Golf Club: Driver because it's the only one I can hit at the moment 

Hobbies outside of golf: Being outside, running, hanging out with my friends 

Fun Fact: I play college golf at Freed-Hardeman University

 IsaiahLong_article_crop Isaiah Long

A Morristown, Tennessee-native, Isaiah is excited to work for the TGA this summer as he works towards a degree in Sports and Recreation Management at East Tennessee State University. While he’s proud to call himself a Buccanneer, Isaiah loves to sport his Tennessee Orange while cheering on the Volunteers. "I took this role with the TGA because I want to pursue a career in golf and I even played in TGA events growing up so I want to give back to the organization that helped my love for the game grow."

Fast Facts

Favorite Food: Chicken Alfredo

Favorite TV Show: Yellowstone and Ted Lasso 

Favorite Golf Club: My 8 iron due to how consistent I hit it on a daily basis. 

Hobbies outside of golf: Traveling, attending sporting events, shopping, hunting and fishing 

Fun Fact: I iron a majority of my clothes on a daily basis


JD Venosdel

JD didn’t have to travel far when accepting the position at the TGA since he’s studying Sports Administration at Belmont University. He is, however, pretty far from Eagle, Idaho, which JD calls home. "I chose to accept the internship because it gave me an opportunity to travel the state and learn how to run golf tournaments."

Favorite Food: Hamburgers

Favorite TV Show/Movie: NCIS and The Sandlot 

Favorite Golf Club: I have a love/hate relationship with my driver, but I love being able to smack the ball far 

Hobbies outside of golf: Snowboarding, camping, hanging out with friends 

Fun Fact: I am a part of the broadcasting team for Belmont Athletics
