KINGSPORT, Tenn. — The 2023 Women’s Four-Ball Championship has come to a close, and with seven flights, a senior division, and a championship division, there are a ton of great golfers to recognize. Those great golfers include the overall championship division winners Caroline Caudill (Clarksville) and Karson Adkins (Savannah), and senior division winners, Susan Miller (Loudon) and Robin Banner (Knoxville).
Caudill and Adkins led the championship flight after day one with a score of 6-under-par. These ladies had a staggering lead, as the next closest team from round 1 was Michelle Dodson and Patty Manney with a score of 4-over-par.
With seven birdies in round 1, and three in round 2, Caudill and Adkins positioned themselves well to capture the title. In the championship division, the former Middle Tennessee State teammates were the only team to finish under par throughout the event.
Senior division winners, Miller and Banner had an outstanding two rounds this week at Cattails at Meadowview. With scores of 6-under-par on day 1 and 8-under-par on day 2, this dynamic duo finished the event with a total score of 128 and some new trophies to take home.
After finishing as runners-up last year in the senior division, Miller and Banner came back to Women’s Four-Ball this year ready to win. Their victory was well-earned considering this pair only had one bogey between the two rounds.
