Meet the 2026 TGA Interns
Kate Butler - 3-month Operations Intern
"I am from Tallahassee, Florida and a rising senior at Florida State University. I am studying sport management on a combined pathways to earn my B.S. and M.S. I was interested in this internship because I was looking to gain experience in an expansive field. I also wanted to live in a new place and push myself to try new things. While I don’t quite know yet exactly what my future will look like, I want to work in a connections-based role in either baseball or golf."
Riley Hacker - 6-month Operations Intern
"I am from Franklin, Tennessee, and I just graduated from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. I studied marketing with minors in advertising, public relations, and international business. I chose this internship because I enjoyed it a lot last year, so I wanted to have one more year to help me figure out what I’m doing for post-grad."
Ashleigh Provoost - 3-month Communications Intern
"I just graduated from Vanderbilt University with a major in communications and minors in business and history. I’m super excited about working for the TGA because I’ve played golf for as long as I can remember but have never had the opportunity to work within the sport, and this internship will give me that experience in the industry while allowing me to stay in my favorite city. In the future, I definitely want to continue doing marketing and communications within the sports world."
Elliott Rains - 6-month Operations Intern
"I’m from Franklin, TN. I just graduated from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and a minor in Business. I applied for the TGA because of my passion for golf, and I wanted to get experience within the golf industry. In the future, I want to stay in sports with a focus on the business and marketing aspects of professional sports."
Hannah Ruth Walton - 3-month Women’s Golf Intern
"I am from Brentwood, Tennessee, and I will be a senior at Freed-Hardeman University. There, I am a Business Administration and Marketing major, as well as a member of the Women's Golf Team. The Golf House of Tennessee has a special place in my heart because of all my childhood memories made there, growing my love for the game of golf. Growing up in Middle Tennessee, I've seen firsthand what the TGA and TGF offer from a player's perspective, and I am excited to explore the operations side of the game. I chose this internship in the hope that it would give me valuable experience and help me learn even more about what a career in golf operations could look like. I am grateful to be a part of this team, and excited to spend time in another aspect of the sport I love."
