Field: The field is limited to 120 players, and players select the Division they wish to compete in.  Entries will be accepted as received until the tournament is full.

Championship Division Format: Contested at match play with a 36-hole stroke play qualifier to determine the positions for match play as well as medalist honors. Following the 36-hole stroke play qualifier, the Championship Division WILL BE CUT to the low 32 players.  Players in this division will play from approximately 6,000 yards for the entire competition (stroke play and match play).

Flighted Division Format: Contested at match play with a 36-hole stroke play qualifier to determine the positions for match play.  Following the 36-hole stroke play qualifier, ALL players will be divided into flights of eight (8) to compete in the match play portion of the event.  Players in this division will play from approximately 5,400 yards for the entire competition (stroke play and match play).

Byes in Flights (for the Flighted Division): In the event that match play brackets are not full after players are seeded, which would result in "byes," these "byes" will be spread out as evenly as possible among the flights, excluding the First Flight.

Awards: (1) The overall champion from the Championship Flight will be named the 2017 Tennessee Women's Amateur Champion and will receive a crystal trophy. In addition, she will have her name engraved on the Scott L. Probasco Trophy on permanent display at Golf House Tennessee.  (2) Medalist awards will be given for Medalist, Junior Medalist, and Senior Medalist honors from the qualifying rounds from the Championship Flight.  If there are no juniors or seniors competing in the Championship Division, these awards will be presented in the Flighted Division.  (3)  The Champion, Finalist, Championship Semi-Finalists, Flight Winners, and Flight Finalists will receive awards.
