Tennessee Girls' Junior Amateur Championship

Eligibility: Applications are open to female junior amateurs who (1) have a parent/legal guardian who is a resident of the state of Tennessee or (2) possess an active USGA/GHIN Handicap Index from a TGA member club of course. Amateurs must meet the definition of an amateur golfer, and the junior must reach her 10th birthday by June 27, 2017 and have not reached her 19th birthday on or before June 29, 2017. An eligible junior is an 18-year-old or under who has not yet started college.
Field: The field is limited to 78 players.
Divisions: There are two divisions, each at stroke play--Girls 15-18 and Girls 10-14.
Awards: (1) The overall medalist will be named the 2017 Tennessee Girls' Junior Amateur Champion and will receive a crystal trophy. In addition, she will have her name engraved on the Ruth Eller Trophy on permanent display at Golf House Tennessee. (2) The overall medalist from the Girls 10-14 Age Division will receive a trophy for the duration of one-year and will return the trophy for the 2018 Girls' Junior. (3) Crystal awards will be given to the top 5 finishers and ties in the Girls 15-18 Age Division and to the top-3 finishers and ties in the Girls 10-14 Age Division. (4) Medalist awards will be given for both age divisions for each round. (5) The Bonnie Trophy will be awarded to the lowest scorer from the Girls 15-18 Age Division who is a bona fide resident (as of at least 6 months prior to the Championship) of one of the following counties in Tennessee: *Anderson, *Blount, Campbell, Cocke, Cumberland, Grainger, Hamblen, Jefferson, *Knox, *Loudon, Monroe, Morgan, *Roane, Sevier, or Union. Counties will asterisks (*) will take precedence over the others listed. The participant receiving the Bonnie Trophy will be able to keep the trophy for the duration of one-year and will return the trophy for the 2017 Girls' Junior.
Range Fees: This fee is included in your entry fee for the duration of the championship. Range balls will be available before and after play.
Onsite Registration (Monday, June 26):
Official Practice Round (Monday, June 26): Players are responsible for making their own practice round tee time. Participants may call Temple Hills Country Club (615-646-4785) beginning June 14 to set their tee time.
Caddie Policy: Caddies are NOT permitted for this event. All players must walk and carry their own bags or use a pull cart.
Welcome Dinner & Rules Meeting (Monday, June 26): All players are expected and encouraged to attend. These fees are included in your entry fee. Additional fees will apply for guests.
Lunch for Players: Lunch is provided for Round One and Round Two ONLY. All other meals will be at the player's expense.
