The TGA will implement the following policies and procedures for championships and qualifiers. The safety of players, staff and volunteers is the highest priority. The TGA expects players and spectators to abide by these guidelines. More detailed guidelines will be posted for each event.
Health - if you do not feel well, please stay home. The TGA staff and volunteers will do the same.
Practice areas - will have a limited time frame.
Tournament Favors - will be given after the round.
Starting area - will have minimal items. Hole location sheets, rule sheets, evacuation plan, etc will be sent to you digitally. You may print at home and bring with you or check the event portal from your phone. Tees, pencils, bug spray & sunscreen will not be available.
Scorecards - will not be exchanged by players and scores will be verified verbally in the scoring area. We recommend using Golf Genius to help enter scores.
Food and beverage - will vary by host site. Buffet lunches will not be available.
Evacuation plans - may include going to your car if the clubhouse can't safely accommodate all players.
Printed scoreboards - will not be used. All scores can be found on Golf Genius.
Bunkers - how we play bunkers may change course by course.
Flagstick - we recommend you leave it in the hole. If it is removed from the hole, the player who removed it should be the one to put it back in the hole.
Carts - will be based on course procedures. The host course will utilize their standard procedure for sanitizing carts.
