McCormick named Executive Director, Idaho Golf Association

Adam McCormick leaves the Tennessee Golf Association after six years as Director, Men’s Competitions to become the Executive Director for the Idaho Golf Association and will begin mid-January.

McCormick was a vital part of the TGA’s success the past few years and was instrumental in making Tennessee’s Men’s Championships some of the best in the country.

“Adam was a pleasure to work with.  His professionalism, attention to detail, and work ethic make him a valuable asset to any association.  I am confident he will do great things in Idaho!  He will be missed here at the TGA but we are fully supportive of the opportunity he has at hand,” stated TGA Executive Director, Chad Anderson.

“I want to thank all of the great people we have in the golfing community here in Tennessee. Golf House Tennessee is such a unique place with a bond between professionals and amateurs unmatched throughout the country. Dick Horton’s vision for Golf House Tennessee so many years ago has become a standard that many other states are looking to replicate and I hope to instill some of those practices in Idaho. I would like to thank the staff of the TGA, specifically Matt Vanderpool and Chad Anderson who have acted as Executive Director during my time here, as well has the entire Golf House Tennessee family. There have been countless interns, volunteers, host professionals, and players that have helped shape golf in Tennessee and I know the TGA and the game as a whole are in great hands moving forward” stated McCormick.

Adam’s last day with the TGA will be Tuesday, January 16th.  The TGA wishes him the best of luck in his new role.
