Golf Capital of Tennessee Women's Open Championship

Event Dates: Thursday-Saturday, July 27-29, 2017

Entry Deadline: Wednesday, July 12th at 5:00 p.m. CDT

Cost: $225 (for professionals - Open Division) and $175 (for amateurs - Open Division)

        $200 (for professionals - Senior Division) and $ 150 (for amateurs - Senior Division)

Host Facility: Stonehenge Golf Club, 931.484.3731 (222 Fairfield Blvd, Fairfield Glade, TN 38558)

Host Hotels/Private Housing: Baymont Inn and Suites - 931-456-9338 (4038 Highway 127 North, Crossville, TN  38571) at a rate of $79.99 plus tax; Comfort Suites - 931.707.8638 (2581 E. First Street, Crossville, TN 38558) at a rate of $109 plus taxes; Hampton Inn Crossville - 931.707.7170 (64 Hospitality Drive, Crossville, TN 38558) at a rate of $119 plus taxes.   Please mention the Golf Capital of Tennessee Women's Open when making your reservation at any of the host hotels.  Private housing is available upon request, but enough notice must be given in order to secure a host family. 

EligibilityEntries are open to professional and amateur female golfers who meet the following requirements (1) meet the USGA policy on transgender individuals and (2) for amateur participants, have USGA Handicap Index of 7.0 or less for the Open Division and 12.0 or less for the Senior Division from a USGA recognized state or regional golf association at the time of entry.  Senior Division participants must be 50 years of age or older on the first day of the competition.

Field: 144 players with 96 positions are reserved for the Open Division and 48 positions are reserved for the Senior Division. 

Format: The Women's Open Open Division will be contested at 54-holes of stroke play. The field will be cut to the low 60 players and ties after 36-holes.  The Women's Open Senior Division is contested at 36-holes of stroke play without a cut.  Professionals and amateurs in their respective divisions play from the same yardage

Awards: (1) The Golf Capital of Tennessee Women's Open Champion receives a crystal trophy and will have her name engraved on the Women's Open trophy on permanent display at Golf House Tennessee.  (2) The low amateur receives a crystal trophy.  (3)  The top-10 low amateurs will receive medals and gift certificates to the Fairfield Glade golf courses.

Professional Purse:  $25,000 total with the low professional receiving a check for $5,000

Player Fees (Golf/Cart/Range): These fees are included in your entry fee for all rounds of the championship proper.  Practice round fees are not included.

Onsite Registration (Wednesday, July 26): Registration will be at Stonehenge Golf Club from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.  ALL players must register in person by the close of onsite registration at 3:00 pm CDT.  If a player requires late registration, she MUST make prior arrangements with the TGA Office.  If word is not received from a player by the close of registration, her position in the championship may be forfeited.

Practice Round (Wednesday, July 26): Each contestant is responsible for paying for her practice round fee of $25.00 + tax and for making her own practice round tee time.  Players may call Fairfield Glade Central Tee Time Office (931.484.3729) to set their tee time.  

Caddie Policy: Caddies are permitted for this event, but players must make their own arrangements to secure a caddie.  For more information, please review the Policies Page for the Women's Open Championship.

Player Dinner sponsored by the City of Crossville (Wednesday, July 26): These fees are included in your entry fee.  Additional fees will apply for guests.
