Allison Brown named Director, Rules & Competitions
Allison Brown has been named Director, Rules & Competitions for the Tennessee Golf Association. Her previous role with the TGA was Director, Women’s Golf and she also worked for years on the LPGA Tour as a Rules Official.
“The golf industry is evolving. With Adam McCormick’s new position in Idaho, this gave the TGA a chance to restructure for the future. We are bringing all competitions under one department and we are excited to have Allison lead the charge. Her experience will allow the TGA to operate our Championships at the highest level,” said Executive Director, Chad Anderson.
It continues a big year for Allison as she was named Head Rules Official for the NCAA Division I Women’s Championship.
Anderson continued, “With new products and services coming from the USGA, our restructure will allow us to better serve our members in our Championships and at the club level. 2018 will be an exciting year.”
“I am incredibly excited about my new role within the Tennessee Golf Association as the Director, Rules & Competitions. It is an exciting time for golf in Tennessee and I am looking forward to providing the best experiences for our players. I want to thank Chad Anderson, the TGA Board of Directors and the members of the Women’s and Men’s Competitions Committees for this opportunity.”
