Danny Green and Steve Golliher are no strangers to the Senior Four-Ball. The duo teamed up to take home the title in 2013, 2014, and 2015, tying a record for most championships and most consecutive championships. After bowing out in the semifinals last year, the Green/Golliher team looks to become the only duo to win the championship four times. If their past success was not enough to declare Green/Golliher the favorites, their performance in the stroke play portion of the championship put a target on their backs. Green/Golliher will begin the 16-team bracket as the No. 1 seed after teaming up for medalist honors thanks to a -12, 60 followed by a -6, 66 for a -18 126.
In the Super Senior portion, the team of Spitalny/Williams shot -11, 133 over 36 holes to tie Dial/Felker for medalist honors. The cut for match play fell at -5, 139. The semifinal match will be played Friday with the Championship on Saturday.
